Refund and Cancellation Policy
(Strictly Governed by the Laws of Singapore)
Effective Date: February 07, 2026 Last Updated: February 07, 2026
This Refund and Cancellation Policy ("Policy") governs the purchase and use of the online consulting, educational courses, and digital content provided by YEO GLOBAL PTE. LTD. (hereinafter referred to as the "Company").
By purchasing our Services, you ("User") explicitly agree to be bound by this Policy. This Policy is drafted in compliance with the Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act ("CPFTA") and the Unfair Contract Terms Act ("UCTA") of Singapore.
1. Nature of Service & Contract Formation
1.1. Single Indivisible Program
The User acknowledges that the Company's Service is sold as a single, indivisible educational license, regardless of whether the content is released in weekly modules ("Drip-Feed") or all at once. The release of the first module constitutes the commencement of the full Service.
1.2. Digital Nature of Goods
Under Singapore law, digital content (e.g., videos, PDFs) is considered "consumed" upon access. Unlike physical goods, digital knowledge cannot be returned once accessed.
2. Fees and Taxes
2.1. Goods and Services Tax (GST)
As of the "Last Updated" date, the Company is a Non-GST Registered Entity. Therefore, the fees quoted are net prices and no GST is currently charged. However, the Company reserves the right to charge GST at the prevailing statutory rate in the future if it becomes a GST-registered entity under Singapore law. Any such change will be clearly communicated at checkout.
3. Refund Standards
3.1. Exclusion of "Cooling-Off Period"
The User explicitly acknowledges that the statutory "Cooling-Off Period" (which typically applies to direct sales or timeshare contracts) does not apply to this online transaction. By purchasing, the User waives any right to a cooling-off period under Singapore regulations.
3.2. Cancellation BEFORE Course Commencement
- Eligibility: Refund requests made at least 7 days prior to the Course Commencement.
- Refund Amount: 100% Refund less Administrative Fee.
- Administrative Fee: The Company reserves the right to deduct a 5% administrative fee to cover non-refundable third-party payment gateway charges (Stripe/PayPal), which is deemed reasonable and necessary to cover actual costs incurred.
3.3. Cancellation AFTER Course Commencement (Strict No-Refund)
Once the Course has commenced (i.e., Week 1 content unlocked), NO REFUND shall be provided. Under the CPFTA, the Company is not obligated to provide refunds for:
- Change of Mind: The User deciding not to pursue the course.
- Personal Circumstances: Lack of time, financial issues, or personal reasons.
- Partial Usage: The User having watched only part of the available content.
4. Consumer Protection (Defective Services)
4.1. Lemon Law Application
If the digital content is objectively defective (e.g., corrupted files, server errors preventing access for >48 hours) and cannot be repaired or rectified by the Company within a reasonable time, the User may be entitled to a reduction in price or a refund.
4.2. Exclusions from Defect
The following do not constitute a "defect" under the CPFTA:
- Subjective Dissatisfaction: Disliking the teaching style or finding the content too difficult/easy.
- User-End Issues: Technical problems caused by the User's device or internet connection.
5. Limitation of Liability
5.1. Earnings Disclaimer
While the Company provides educational content, we make no guarantees regarding specific financial results or earnings. The User agrees that the Company is not liable for any business losses (including loss of profits, revenue, or data) arising from the use of our Services, except for liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence which cannot be excluded under UCTA.
6. Chargebacks and Disputes
6.1. Unauthorized Chargebacks
The User agrees to contact help@yeoglobal.sg first to resolve disputes. Initiating a chargeback without prior contact or for reasons covered by our No-Refund Policy will be considered a breach of contract, leading to immediate account termination and potential legal recovery actions.
7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
7.1. Exclusive Jurisdiction
This Policy shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with this Policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Singapore. The User expressly waives any right to commence proceedings in any other jurisdiction outside of Singapore.
